Rin Kaiho got the illusive loss at the Meijin title match-3. Just 1 minute later of restart after the evening meal, he played *W189* without any move from Kato. The game thus ended immediately at pm 06:01. It should have been the winning move.

Some notes on the 12th league:

Fujisawa Shuko entered the Meijin league again after 10 years blank.

Cho Chikun lost the game against Rin Kaiho by time. "50 sec, 1, 2,..., 8, 9, 10!" scorer counted, before Cho's B165 move. The game thus finished at white 164. Time consumption; Cho: *6:00*, Rin: 5:59. Cho Chikun was the top runner (3-0) at that time.
