Disable the Toolbar icons and Location line in the Netscape search window. This will enable you to scale down the search window and leave more space on the screen for query results. You will find the toggles under the Options menu entry.
When investigating related information (like the players' biography pages for example) try using the middle mouse button instead of the left mouse button. This will open a separate window which will display the requested information, enabling you to still access the initial window for other tasks.
