First major title: 19th & 20th Kansai Kiin #1 Championship Title
winner. Won Kansai Kiin Oteai four times. Participant in 9th,
10th, 11th & 13th Meijin Leagues (1970-72 & 1974). Participant in
36th Honinbo League, 1981. Participant in 7th & 14th Meijin
Leagues (1982 & 1989). Winner 31st NHK Cup, 1984.
Hobbies include mountain climbing.
