Winner, KIDO magazine "Top Woman Player" award three times, "Women's Special Distinction" award once. 1993 record: 9 wins, 16 losses. Visited the U.S. in 1961 and Taiwan in 1966 on promotional and cultural go tours. Maiden name Honda. Sugiuchi Kazuko, 8 dan and Honda Sachiko, 6 dan are her sisters. Lives in Tokyo, Japan. | |
