Winner, 1st NEC Shunei Title, 11th Shinjin O Title, 17th Shinei Title, 1986. Winner, 11th Kisei Tournament, 6 Dan Division, 12th Shinjin O Title, 18th Shinei Title, 1987. Winner of KIDO magazine awards 14 times. Winner 14th & 15th Shinjin O Titles, 1989-90. Winner, 13th, 14th & 15th Kisei Tournaments, 7 Dan Division, 1988-89-90.
