When you are planning to use the GIF or HTML mode, you need the netpbm package installed on your system. Besides, you'll need the specially designed diagram fonts (included in the distribution). These fonts currently come in three pointsizes, 15, 19 and 23 points (pixels) creating diagrams of 285, 361 or 437 pixels respectively. The average size of such GIF images is 4-5kb, 7-8kb or 10-12kb.
Version 2.7.5 of the source of sgf2misc is available from this WWW page. Later versions were merged with the GoBase libraries and consequently these sources will not be made publicly available.
Executables are usually available for the most recent version of sgf2misc. Check the CHANGES file to see if it's worthwhile to upgrade your version of the program.
