6.1 Normal Case (8)
Under area rules III if Black plays 277 at 'a,' then White can pass.
Black 277 is the last competitive move and White wins by two points.

Under territory rules I Black can pass at 277, but if White then passes
to establish the preliminary end of the game he loses a point, because
the number of neutral points is odd. White will therefore play 'a.' If
Black passes again, now White can pass in reply for the preliminary end
of the game.
