Tournament, 5 Dan Division, 1987. Winner, 13th Shinjin O Title;
19th Shinei Title, 1988. Winner of 21st KIDO magazine "Shinjin
(New Player)" award, 1987. Winner, 13th Kisei Tournament, Dan
Division, 1989, then won All Dan Knock-out Tournament to advance
to the Top Player Round. Winner, 5th & 7th NEC Shunei Cup Titles;
21st Shinei Title, 1990. Recipient KIDO prizes four times.
