sgf2misc is a generic filter for various Go game formats. The program reads and writes the following formats:
You can try out some of the output modes interactively using the online service. Supported input mode is SGF code. Supported output modes are: ASCII, PostScript and GIF. Besides modes are available to convert between SF and SGF format.
Since sgf2misc knows about IGS,
it also conveniently deals with kibitzs
(example).

Fonts and other external resources | ||
When you are planning to use the GIF or HTML mode, you need the netpbm package installed on your system. Besides, you'll need the specially designed diagram fonts (included in the distribution). These fonts currently come in three pointsizes, 15, 19 and 23 points (pixels) creating diagrams of 285, 361 or 437 pixels respectively. The average size of such GIF images is 4-5kb, 7-8kb or 10-12kb. | ||

Version 2.7.5 of the source of sgf2misc is available from this WWW page. Later versions were merged with the GoBase libraries and consequently these sources will not be made publicly available. | ||
