The King of Kings (Wang Joong Wang, aka Electronic Land Cup) tournament features three groups of 8 players in different age categories: the Blue Dragon (CheongRyong) group (25 yrs or younger), the White Tiger (BaekHo) group (26-50 yrs old) and the Phoenix (BongHwang) group (older than 50 yrs). Time limits is 20 minutes each plus byo yomi. The final (played in September) is decided in a best of three match. Games from the best eight will be broadcasted live by Baduk TV and Cyberoro. The winner is awarded with 40 million won (€ 25,000.=) while the runner-up gets 15 million won. Total prize money is 500 million won. With this prize money it's the best paid Korean lightning tournament right now (2004). Sponsor is Electronic Land and the tournament is run under auspicien of Korea Economic News, Baduk TV, and CyberKiwon.
