5.4 Handling of Unusual Positions
Since the score under territory rules I agrees with area rules III,
unusual positions can be handled by adopting the complete solution
offered by area rules III. If the argument in the preceding section is
viewed from a different angle, it means that in territory rules as well,
when unusual positions are resolved by the method of area rules III,
the result is still the same. Under territory rules I, accordingly, all
unusual positions are to be played out. The results will agree with area
rules III.
