It's all square in the 19th female Meijin title match. Aoki Kikuyo takes the 2nd game by resignation. The challanger Kato Keiko being behind with an unrecoverable margin of 2-3 points in the endgame. The deciding game will be played the 7th of March and will be covered live on PandaNet.

Lee SeDol takes the best of three Maxim match against Park JungSang. It's the 2nd year in a row Lee takes the title. 

 02-21 19th Female Meijin title

Kato Keiko takes the first game of the 19th female Meijin title against title holder Aoki Kikuyo. The match will be continued the 28th of February and is covered live on PandaNet. 

 02-15 45th Judan title

Yamashita Keigo becomes the challenger for the 45th Judan title by beating Yoda Norimoto in the playoff. Waiting for him is title holder Cho Chikun and thus the title will have the same line-up as last year. 

 02-09 8th NongShim Cup

Lee ChangHo, 9p from Korea defended the honors of Korea in the three-country win-and-continue tournament. Japan lost their last player Yoda while China still had two players in but both Kong Jie and Gu Li where defeated by the number 1 of Korean Go.
