Yoda Norimoto [jp] is Gosei for a third year in a row after
beating challenger Yuki Satoshi in a truely spectacular match.
The games lasted for an average of 150 moves and featured
the kind of Go the fans like so much: fighting from the first move on.
07-20 World Team Championships
The Korea Amateur Baduk Association will organize a new event:
the International Baduk Team Championship. From all over the world
16 teams consisting of 3 players each will be invited to come to
Korea to play the championship on 25-27 October 2005 in Seoul, Korea.
From Europe The Netherlands, Germany and Russia will be invited,
from America the USA and Argentine.

07-19 Korean Times starts English column
The Korea Times online edition started a weekly column in English on Baduk
(Go). Five issues have been published since initation (June 16th).
07-15 39th WangWi title decided
Lee ChangHo adds another title to his long long string of crowns,
the 39th WangWi title this time. In the 4th game he beats his challenger
Ok DukJin, 2p by points.

07-04 18th Fujitsu Cup decided
For the third time in four years the Fujitsu Cup is taken home by Lee SeDol.
In the 18th edition of this international event we see an interesting
final against countryman Choi CheolHan, leading to a close finish.
Yoo ChangHyuk takes third place by winning on points against countryman Song TaeKon.

In the 18th Fujitsu Cup
Lee SeDol and Choi CheolHan, both from Korea go through to the final
while Song TaeKon and Yoo ChangHyuk (also both from Korea) will play
for the 3rd place.
The finals will be played on the 4th of July.
