the entire match) in his match against title holder Takao Shinji.
The 4th game for the 61st Honinbo title showed an aggressive challenger
but despite his fierce attacking all groups of Takao skillfully survived
while picking up quite some territory in the process.

The 54th NHK Cup took off. The world largest professional hayago (fast
go) tournament is one of the few tournaments where both men and female
can join the same competition. Haya-go games are good study material
since usually the games start natural, yet contain entertaining fighting,
